Nolus v0.7.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 10380000. It is estimated to take place 3 weeks ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nolus
git pull
git checkout v0.7.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 0.7.0
nolusd version

# Should be commit ca0a41a193e8dd685a376da1c2d7e6b2e5d1be6e
nolusd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nolus/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.7.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nolusd $HOME/.nolus/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.7.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 0.7.0
$HOME/.nolus/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.7.0/bin/nolusd version
