Shentu v2.14.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 22399700. It is estimated to take place 9 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd shentu
git pull
git checkout v2.14.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v2.14.0
shentud version

# Should be commit 20912640248652bf14037fd98f021861e9a1c92f
shentud version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.shentud/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.14.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/shentud $HOME/.shentud/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.14.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v2.14.0
$HOME/.shentud/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.14.0/bin/shentud version
