ZetaChain v26.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 6812000. It is estimated to take place 3 weeks ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd zetachain
git pull
git checkout v26.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 26.0.0
zetacored version

# Should be commit 178398a98fda921af337e5144a55e35ec3650348
zetacored version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.zetacored/cosmovisor/upgrades/v26/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/zetacored $HOME/.zetacored/cosmovisor/upgrades/v26/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 26.0.0
$HOME/.zetacored/cosmovisor/upgrades/v26/bin/zetacored version
