Coreum v4.1.2 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 32312000. It is estimated to take place 9 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd coreum
git pull
git checkout v4.1.2
make install

Check Version

# should be v4.1.2
cored version

# Should be commit d94c10aed2105f6661ef80562ef4d62219e09d72
cored version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.core/coreum-mainnet-1/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4patch2/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/cored $HOME/.core/coreum-mainnet-1/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4patch2/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v4.1.2
$HOME/.core/coreum-mainnet-1/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4patch2/bin/cored version
