Sei v6.0.2 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 126326956. It is estimated to take place 9 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd sei
git pull
git checkout v6.0.2
make install

Check Version

# should be v6.0.2
seid version

# Should be commit f17ec67f1a05c0fa1c3a978bad456edb362aa7c9
seid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.sei/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.0.2/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/seid $HOME/.sei/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.0.2/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v6.0.2
$HOME/.sei/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.0.2/bin/seid version
