Oraichain v0.50.3 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 44031870. It is estimated to take place 10 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd orai
git pull
git checkout v0.50.3
make install

Check Version

# should be 0.50.3
oraid version

# Should be commit 8e6dacc01fe60bc78c1f4f4dfac9e21459f96f7e
oraid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.oraid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.50.3/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/oraid $HOME/.oraid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.50.3/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 0.50.3
$HOME/.oraid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.50.3/bin/oraid version
