Nolus v0.6.8 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 8931000. It is estimated to take place 11 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nolus
git pull
git checkout v0.6.8
make install

Check Version

# should be 0.6.8
nolusd version

# Should be commit be1bcbc8832f2bdb74202c031ba6c2b920755e9b
nolusd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nolus/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.6.8/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nolusd $HOME/.nolus/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.6.8/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 0.6.8
$HOME/.nolus/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.6.8/bin/nolusd version
