Router Protocol v2.2.4 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 10776000. It is estimated to take place 11 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd router
git pull
git checkout v2.2.4
make install

Check Version

# should be 2.2.4
routerd version

# Should be commit 0bc5ca7c60f363c067f34fe1a160ed65ca7ba775
routerd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.routerd/cosmovisor/upgrades/2.2.3-to-2.2.4/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/routerd $HOME/.routerd/cosmovisor/upgrades/2.2.3-to-2.2.4/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 2.2.4
$HOME/.routerd/cosmovisor/upgrades/2.2.3-to-2.2.4/bin/routerd version
