Osmosis v27.0.1 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 24250100. It is estimated to take place 1 day ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd osmosis
git pull
git checkout v27.0.1
make install

Check Version

# should be 27.0.1
osmosisd version

# Should be commit 100ba81036f01a348271ed59917881e2b83d0fbc
osmosisd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v27/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/osmosisd $HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v27/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 27.0.1
$HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v27/bin/osmosisd version
