ZetaChain v22.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 5803900. It is estimated to take place 1 week ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd zetachain
git pull
git checkout v22.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 22.0.0
zetacored version

# Should be commit c26846340ebcff76174e77837adbbca474d75a46
zetacored version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.zetacored/cosmovisor/upgrades/v22/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/zetacored $HOME/.zetacored/cosmovisor/upgrades/v22/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 22.0.0
$HOME/.zetacored/cosmovisor/upgrades/v22/bin/zetacored version
