Xion Network v14.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 3586500. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd xion
git pull
git checkout v14.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 14.0.0
xiond version

# Should be commit 4c194776ab128bb8b0c2cde6156e2d3283866ff2
xiond version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.xiond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v14/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/xiond $HOME/.xiond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v14/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 14.0.0
$HOME/.xiond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v14/bin/xiond version
