ZetaChain v20.0.2 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 5089400. It is estimated to take place 1 month ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd zetachain
git pull
git checkout v20.0.2
make install

Check Version

# should be 20.0.2
zetacored version

# Should be commit c05a91c389bedfd4cfe103e73c3a311251e2d0a8
zetacored version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.zetacored/cosmovisor/upgrades/v20/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/zetacored $HOME/.zetacored/cosmovisor/upgrades/v20/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 20.0.2
$HOME/.zetacored/cosmovisor/upgrades/v20/bin/zetacored version
