Osmosis v26.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 21046000. It is estimated to take place 2 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd osmosis
git pull
git checkout v26.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v26.0.0
osmosisd version

# Should be commit dd6442421a5643d8702200d6a46a6178160a8c76
osmosisd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v26/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/osmosisd $HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v26/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v26.0.0
$HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v26/bin/osmosisd version
