Omniflix v5.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 13986200. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd omniflix
git pull
git checkout v5.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v5.0.0
omniflixhubd version

# Should be commit e6f3b75573750676b3a2772c1332a42819f030d0
omniflixhubd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/omniflixhubd $HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v5.0.0
$HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5/bin/omniflixhubd version
