Stride v24.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 10755701. It is estimated to take place 2 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stride
git pull
git checkout v24.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v24.0.0
strided version

# Should be commit 4cfda614e8fb9664ce72861d32824d72430d4436
strided version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v24/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/strided $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v24/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v24.0.0
$HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v24/bin/strided version
