Migaloo v4.2.3 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 8471000. It is estimated to take place 2 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd migaloo
git pull
git checkout v4.2.3
make install

Check Version

# should be v4.2.3
migalood version

# Should be commit 3e96e87c7dde363fbc750da1fd54cc8f50aebd04
migalood version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.migalood/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4.2.3/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/migalood $HOME/.migalood/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4.2.3/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v4.2.3
$HOME/.migalood/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4.2.3/bin/migalood version
