XPLA v1.6.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 10491710. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd xpla
git pull
git checkout v1.6.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v1.6.0
xplad version

# Should be commit 89a6ef16127ab6970bebfcf31f6b37d3e32b76b1
xplad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.xpla/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1_6/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/xplad $HOME/.xpla/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1_6/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v1.6.0
$HOME/.xpla/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1_6/bin/xplad version
