Aura v0.9.3 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 7810560. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd aura
git pull
git checkout v0.9.3
make install

Check Version

# should be v0.9.3
aurad version

# Should be commit ae45a4ef71da0e09543a926825662c555af507bd
aurad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.aura/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.9.3/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/aurad $HOME/.aura/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.9.3/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v0.9.3
$HOME/.aura/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.9.3/bin/aurad version
