Migaloo v4.2.2 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 8322000. It is estimated to take place 4 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd migaloo
git pull
git checkout v4.2.2
make install

Check Version

# should be v4.2.2
migalood version

# Should be commit 7936fadfefe8d5d3da9044119fe7a66516f3b2a0
migalood version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.migalood/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4.2.2/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/migalood $HOME/.migalood/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4.2.2/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v4.2.2
$HOME/.migalood/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4.2.2/bin/migalood version
