Odin v0.9.3 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 15639500. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd odin
git pull
git checkout v0.9.3
make install

Check Version

# should be 0.9.3
odind version

# Should be commit bb38d42aa9bfabb87b87e576fd92d2de154b055d
odind version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.odin/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.9.3/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/odind $HOME/.odin/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.9.3/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 0.9.3
$HOME/.odin/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.9.3/bin/odind version
