Stride v23.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 10077001. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stride
git pull
git checkout v23.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v23.0.0
strided version

# Should be commit 3f521ddaec8609648e0aede1ed92622e736a7276
strided version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v23/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/strided $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v23/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v23.0.0
$HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v23/bin/strided version
