Juno v23.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 18032000. It is estimated to take place 4 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd juno
git pull
git checkout v23.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v23.0.0
junod version

# Should be commit bf140aa60045ba92b83d0cb7f3bc47a2661a4e7e
junod version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.juno/cosmovisor/upgrades/v23/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/junod $HOME/.juno/cosmovisor/upgrades/v23/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v23.0.0
$HOME/.juno/cosmovisor/upgrades/v23/bin/junod version
