Paloma v1.15.3 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 20420000. It is estimated to take place 4 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd paloma
git pull
git checkout v1.15.3
make install

Check Version

# should be v1.15.3
palomad version

# Should be commit fc52a8499f3c81cb99e533071392595dfb627ad0
palomad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.paloma/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.15.3/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/palomad $HOME/.paloma/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.15.3/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v1.15.3
$HOME/.paloma/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.15.3/bin/palomad version
