Nibiru v1.5.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 8375044. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nibiru
git pull
git checkout v1.5.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 1.5.0
nibid version

# Should be commit a5279d1c3e2a907d21f7840d86c0dd49c747029f
nibid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.5.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nibid $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.5.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 1.5.0
$HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.5.0/bin/nibid version
