Kujira v1.1.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 19855000. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd kujira
git pull
git checkout v1.1.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 1.1.0
kujirad version

# Should be commit 690a0dece9372993178deb467e2f0ae49d0733ce
kujirad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.kujira/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.1.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/kujirad $HOME/.kujira/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.1.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 1.1.0
$HOME/.kujira/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.1.0/bin/kujirad version
