Nibiru v1.4.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 7457147. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nibiru
git pull
git checkout v1.4.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 1.4.0
nibid version

# Should be commit 9ff225a9859731e9547966dbc7c41f23e00d6b36
nibid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.4.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nibid $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.4.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 1.4.0
$HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.4.0/bin/nibid version
