SGE Network v1.7.0-tmfix Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 4006450. It is estimated to take place 5 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd sge
git pull
git checkout v1.7.0-tmfix
make install

Check Version

# should be v1.7.0-tmfix
sged version

# Should be commit cdd83dddd9e44548b07b6c89a86b154d91d26ea0
sged version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.sge/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.7.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/sged $HOME/.sge/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.7.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v1.7.0-tmfix
$HOME/.sge/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.7.0/bin/sged version
