Sifchain v1.4.1 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 17552000. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd sifchain
git pull
git checkout v1.4.1
make install

Check Version

# should be v1.4.1
sifnoded version

# Should be commit 1f07f1be4fbaa4cc4a12bf32cdce760a1584cabf
sifnoded version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.sifnoded/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.4.1/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/sifnoded $HOME/.sifnoded/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.4.1/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v1.4.1
$HOME/.sifnoded/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.4.1/bin/sifnoded version
