Picasso v6.6.41 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 5079000. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd picasso
git pull
git checkout v6.6.41
make install

Check Version

# should be v6.6.41
picad version

# Should be commit 2eba01c532c4318fc74f63b8560099f89d2ecee0
picad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.banksy/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6_6_4/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/picad $HOME/.banksy/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6_6_4/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v6.6.41
$HOME/.banksy/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6_6_4/bin/picad version
