Archway v7.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 4473000. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd archway
git pull
git checkout v7.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 7.0.0
archwayd version

# Should be commit 6b7bbb5c9b28a6c6925e7574499a94b45c37842c
archwayd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.archway/cosmovisor/upgrades/v7.0.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/archwayd $HOME/.archway/cosmovisor/upgrades/v7.0.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 7.0.0
$HOME/.archway/cosmovisor/upgrades/v7.0.0/bin/archwayd version
