Omniflix v4.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 11914000. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd omniflix
git pull
git checkout v4.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v4.0.0
omniflixhubd version

# Should be commit 5c34921deef25edb7e8fdaaacc7e217d91135a83
omniflixhubd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/omniflixhubd $HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v4.0.0
$HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4/bin/omniflixhubd version
