Stride v22.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 8681868. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stride
git pull
git checkout v22.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v22.0.0
strided version

# Should be commit 5b8c74bb048b3fdf20c713b3adaecd3b584728cb
strided version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v22/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/strided $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v22/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v22.0.0
$HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v22/bin/strided version
