Nibiru v1.2.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 4804662. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nibiru
git pull
git checkout v1.2.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 1.2.0
nibid version

# Should be commit 1ba22a79e36e7ed77e2e4503e72bfbbe5c609aa8
nibid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.2.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nibid $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.2.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 1.2.0
$HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.2.0/bin/nibid version
