Nibiru v1.1.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 4447094. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nibiru
git pull
git checkout v1.1.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 1.1.0
nibid version

# Should be commit 3d72b4f3eb17fa3a3f6006b19d8e5d868f392223
nibid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.1.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nibid $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.1.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 1.1.0
$HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.1.0/bin/nibid version
