Stride v19.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 8064608. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stride
git pull
git checkout v19.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v19.0.0
strided version

# Should be commit 531aaa3bf639f1425f61d186b83d1e114fa55255
strided version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v19/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/strided $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v19/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v19.0.0
$HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v19/bin/strided version
