CosmosHub v15.1.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 19639600. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd cosmos
git pull
git checkout v15.1.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v15.1.0
gaiad version

# Should be commit 1e7b5171ff1d6c8626aa4a0f049a10fefd69823e
gaiad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.gaia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v15/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/gaiad $HOME/.gaia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v15/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v15.1.0
$HOME/.gaia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v15/bin/gaiad version
