Archway v6.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 3554500. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd archway
git pull
git checkout v6.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 6.0.0
archwayd version

# Should be commit a2f4f93355c44e30ebaebeb912331af944d53a74
archwayd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.archway/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.0.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/archwayd $HOME/.archway/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.0.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 6.0.0
$HOME/.archway/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.0.0/bin/archwayd version
