Sei v3.7.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 60622970. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd sei
git pull
git checkout v3.7.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v3.7.0
seid version

# Should be commit v3.7.0
seid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.sei/cosmovisor/upgrades/v3.7.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/seid $HOME/.sei/cosmovisor/upgrades/v3.7.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v3.7.0
$HOME/.sei/cosmovisor/upgrades/v3.7.0/bin/seid version
