Omniflix v3.1.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 10872800. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd omniflix
git pull
git checkout v3.1.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v3.1.0
omniflixhubd version

# Should be commit e5802bdc912160eb2d9f778912f5dcb3199fb6d1
omniflixhubd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v3/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/omniflixhubd $HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v3/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v3.1.0
$HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v3/bin/omniflixhubd version
