Passage v2.4.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 7080900. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd passage
git pull
git checkout v2.4.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 2.4.0
passage version

# Should be commit bcb499b986498c857bcafc1e4b33b5f24fa52961
passage version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.passage/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.4.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/passage $HOME/.passage/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.4.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 2.4.0
$HOME/.passage/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.4.0/bin/passage version
