Omniflix v2.1.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 10678600. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd omniflix
git pull
git checkout v2.1.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v2.1.0
omniflixhubd version

# Should be commit 8f288bbebd7704e7e2aad2301cfed41527855b6f
omniflixhubd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.1/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/omniflixhubd $HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.1/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v2.1.0
$HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.1/bin/omniflixhubd version
