Picasso v6.4.2 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 3486739. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd picasso
git pull
git checkout v6.4.2
make install

Check Version

# should be v6.4.2
picad version

# Should be commit 1dc4c25c5f61176ae9ea49043ee39d6101962254
picad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.banksy/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6_4/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/picad $HOME/.banksy/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6_4/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v6.4.2
$HOME/.banksy/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6_4/bin/picad version
