Osmosis v22.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 13325950. It is estimated to take place 10 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd osmosis
git pull
git checkout v22.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 22.0.0
osmosisd version

# Should be commit 60ee947d50408a4273013422bce5acba19deb63f
osmosisd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v22/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/osmosisd $HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v22/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 22.0.0
$HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v22/bin/osmosisd version
