Kujira v0.9.3-1 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 16610000. It is estimated to take place 11 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd kujira
git pull
git checkout v0.9.3-1
make install

Check Version

# should be 0.9.3-1
kujirad version

# Should be commit b8ab1241c8763329ba3a228fb1a1de69104467ef
kujirad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.kujira/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.9.3/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/kujirad $HOME/.kujira/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.9.3/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 0.9.3-1
$HOME/.kujira/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.9.3/bin/kujirad version
