Umee v6.3.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 10046600. It is estimated to take place 4 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd umee
git pull
git checkout v6.3.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 6.3.0
umeed version

# Should be commit cbf1d36e9deee4b086235a02e0fc9301e32bbcfc
umeed version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.umee/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.3/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/umeed $HOME/.umee/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.3/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 6.3.0
$HOME/.umee/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.3/bin/umeed version
