UnUniFi v4.0.1 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 8299656. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd ununifi
git pull
git checkout v4.0.1
make install

Check Version

# should be HEAD-7242467ca0a6a87276484ecfaa49eb81684d5431
ununifid version

# Should be commit 7242467ca0a6a87276484ecfaa49eb81684d5431
ununifid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.ununifi/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4_0_1/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/ununifid $HOME/.ununifi/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4_0_1/bin

Check Version Again

# should be HEAD-7242467ca0a6a87276484ecfaa49eb81684d5431
$HOME/.ununifi/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4_0_1/bin/ununifid version
