CosmosHub v14.1.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 18262000. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd cosmos
git pull
git checkout v14.1.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v14.1.0
gaiad version

# Should be commit 0d9408e9169488707f1ad423e87d0df84a30431f
gaiad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.gaia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v14/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/gaiad $HOME/.gaia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v14/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v14.1.0
$HOME/.gaia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v14/bin/gaiad version
