SGE Network v1.1.1 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 1097000. It is estimated to take place 6 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd sge
git pull
git checkout v1.1.1
make install

Check Version

# should be v1.1.1
sged version

# Should be commit 1a74c2a9d936002b1195035fe0ce8e6d76ed8d2c
sged version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.sge/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.1.1/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/sged $HOME/.sge/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.1.1/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v1.1.1
$HOME/.sge/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.1.1/bin/sged version
