Picasso v6.3.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 2301070. It is estimated to take place 11 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd picasso
git pull
git checkout v6.3.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v6.3.0
picad version

# Should be commit 9480c5e72ac78533ac7f583e53e82e4ee4851fb1
picad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.banksy/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/picad $HOME/.banksy/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v6.3.0
$HOME/.banksy/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6/bin/picad version
