Lum v1.6.2 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 10027000. It is estimated to take place 6 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd lum
git pull
git checkout v1.6.2
make install

Check Version

# should be 1.6.2
lumd version

# Should be commit f603addaf4e71809871763b0faecd570d39a2a6a
lumd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.lumd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.6.2/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/lumd $HOME/.lumd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.6.2/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 1.6.2
$HOME/.lumd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.6.2/bin/lumd version
